Nestled in the beach cities of southern California, there is a small cafe across from the Pacific Ocean boasting a real coffee tree, a cozy interior with great coffee, and exhibitions of local art. But on Saturday mornings, The Laguna Coffee Company features live jazz. Each week, fans flock to this unlikely music venue located in the heart of Laguna Beach to experience some of Southern California’s best musicians who perform straight ahead jazz from the great American songbook

Many of the musicians come from the studios of Hollywood, clubs and concert halls in Los Angeles, Boston and New York, and from as far away as Tokyo.

But when they get together on Saturdays, they come to perform for each other as well as an appreciative audience.

And they wouldn’t have it any other way.
