Established in 1970, La Lucie Coffee Estates is located in Chipinge, in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe near the Mozambique border. The combination of near-perfect growing conditions, altitude (around 4,000 feet), rich, fertile soil and state of the art processing and grading technology allows the family-owned La Lucie Estates to produce a marvelously distinctive coffee; the highest grade of which is known as “Royale”.

A large bean that is extremely consistent in size with a deep green, almost blue-ish color; La Lucie Royale produces a well balanced and complex cup with good body, bright acidity and a most pleasant berry-like wineyness with hints of chocolate in the finish.
